Shahenaz is a luxury Home furnishing store evolving into the Apparels and accessories sector. Shahenaz means 'Pride of the king' which communicates through the prints and design of the product comes under the brand.
Similarly, while designing the upcoming store we considered the phrase 'Pride of the king' and pen down the component associated with it such as arches on the facade which presents the fort kind i
mpression,Big glass dislay along arches as windows for royalty and manaqueins standing as somebody peeking through jharokas, grooves adding details and length to a facade.Textures to give raw look as stone walls in fort,Internal racks are altitudinous till ceilng and following a similar colour theme of gold and silver for grandness and rich elaborated sight.
Instinctually,The store with the brand name holds the allure through its traditional indian motifs prints and Alike interiors.
Aim behind the interiors of the store is to give a justified experience to customer of heritage in Indian culture. Also, make them obtain a welcoming impression by a ancenstry traditional elements which is disori
ented in this modern world.
ABOUT INTERIORS:
A 525sqft store is designed in a way as when customer enters they should acheive a unobstructed view to whole range of product from a certain point. Light champagne shade flooring multiplies the floor area illusively and off-white painted wall adds a immense view of the outlet.
Verical racks made up of MS section pipe with golden PVD coating provides height in interiors of store along with richness.
sufficeint lighting to glorify the interior and products that store offers.
Division of racks in a method which allows to assign the whole product range as per their zone and give them stage to play thier own role.
Structural Columns are used in for accessories diplay helping in utilising every area inside the store.
Main focus during designing the store was to retain the experience of traditions and ethnicity in art with interiors and offering products in the world full off modernism and contamporarism.
CHALLENGES:
Though a corner facade shop was bliss but it also came out with few challenges to us.
While designing we have to consider the acute facade angle which was almost impossible to put in use appropriately. Since we couldn't afford to loose a inch of our site a lot of brain storming help us to acheive the best of this angle .
The other challenge was Internal structutral column, specially with great sizes. Optimizing those column without fail was our target,
Also, The grand clear unobsrected facade was in curve and we didnt want to change the uniqueness so creating a curved facade in glass and to save a cost was a challenge to us.
So instead of proposing fully glazed facade, we opted for an arched facade with wooden colonade as a support thus not only reducing the cost but also complimenting the overall heritage theme.
The acute corner of the shop is enhanced and utilised to it's maximum potential by designing it as projecting window display, a key design feature in facade provided.
Also the space between structural columns is utilised as a splended entrance while using columns to anchor the facade and projected window diplay, while also proving a space to display accessories.

FACADE:
Facade was intresting to play with as it a corner shop with inborn benefits as it provide big facade,
With two adjecent glass window display which illuside the prolonged frontage with grand opening.
Location did works for the outlet as its in forepart of Cinema hall which helps in acheiving view to display while entry and exit of multiplex
Mall has a dome roof allowing the natural light inside a arcade benefits the store which already exits in top floor. Natural light shed on grand glass display of showroom permits the frontal looks enormous.
We opted for 10' monumental arches to provide a facade particular height and a ' Heritage palace theme' which stands out with grooves that bestow the culture. Grooving breaks the monotony and provides detailing. Antique scorn lights installed helps to attain a notion as someone is watch guarding a facade with lamps. Glowing and well lited 'shahehnaz' logo on facade proudly welcoming the shoppers.
The Texture on facade wall was inspired from stone work of forts of Rajasthan.
